Make sure you have the binary conversion done first, and then give us a nudge - the next bit won't make much sense unless you have that sewn up so it's worth getting out of the way
o.k.. I was way off before, but now I got it. bon appetit!
a two word phrase ... Hmmm ... thats really thrown a persons thought pattern
That's what I was thinking already - that the keyword given connects you to two different words that make up the primary and secondary key for this type of cipher. It's just working out what that connection is, as I only know that keyword in one sense, and that appears not to be the right one. Using the very word given, or that word split into two doesn't give meaningful results either.
I thought I had, but it turned out not to be implemented in that release. I was actually on the verge of writing one about an hour ago, but had an attack of laziness
I've been using that so far, but this applet doesn't handlethis cipher type in the way you'd think it does - it uses 0-4 rather than 1-5 for a start, which throws everything out. It frequently doesn't give you a result at all in this case.
EDIT: there's a switch for 1-5, but that whole module still seems unstable.
Ah well, bedtime for me. I shall sleep on it and try again tomorrow. Good luck folks
