Same here - I've been through everything obvious with no luck. As far as I know there's only one major cipher associated with that time and place in history.

I can feel my brain melting.
identifying the code wasn't hard, but I have no clue about the square key and the keyword. I keep going in circles, searching things related to the movies.
It is obviously wrong, but I havn't got any other ideas...
I feel stupid....

TBH if it's the myth rather than the movie then the keyword hint really isn't approriate - I can see where you could make a link, but the hint word isn't associated with the myth at all and AFAIK was first used for the movie.

Even having said that, I can't get either to work

i found a site that uses transposition of a keyword first but it didnt come out either
sorta like a double transposition on n*******
