In the letter he talks about the 5th. Also the dot must mean something.

You figured out the key once, now it is the first part of another clue. (not the same answer, have to figure it out again ) shift code...

I'm pretty sure that I have the answer to #2 correct. I solved the 4x5 square and have a phrase but it doesn't work when I enter it as a password.

Sorry it took me so long. Make sure you don't use caps or spaces and that the username is correct. I will go double check the page, but it should be fine.

Nope, that's the username. Password is the answer. No caps or spaces

but i read all those clues already and that is why i requested the hlp - those clues do not help -

I already used the abc shifting code - Grandpa wrote "shifting" and "5th" in his letter - so I shifted the letters 5 steps forward and replaced the existing letters on the key accordingly - that didnt help. Then I shifted it 5 steps backwords - and that didnt help neither...

I Think I need to rotate the key's letters But I dont know what to look for (and no knowing that I am looking for two words doesnt help at all I need something to lean on)
