Only so simple as that it was a misquote, I don't know if that is a red herring though, I think it might be. Look how simple all the others turned out to be. So simple it is easily missed.

I've had a hint from the creator. He says - and I quote

"As to the ethics puzzle, you will not find the answer by searching online. The Guardian of the Gates has already given you what you need to solve the puzzle. Think about the shape of the "ethics" picture - is it familiar?"

No, I know what you mean. I've put it into paint and am playing around with it, but other than some possible letters which I've already tried, I'm getting nothing.

I got all excited when I saw the hint but can't make it useful to me at all, what with this and 22 of antiriddle I am starting to doubt my riddling skills!

I never doubted mine Joanna, I learned from the start of my very first riddle that I have none whatsoever

And I've done the same, amcpep. Tried drawing lines around the words to make the shape of it more clear, but it's not something I recognize. Maybe it's a symbol you'd only know if you live somewhere in particular although that would be stupid, but I don't know

I was wondering if the way the words are placed is something to do with the answer. They just look a bit strange, but I've not come up with anything yet.

What's really frustrating is that I made this quote right back at post 365, but I dismissed it because I couldn't find anything.

Well, basically you're at the same place as back then, as you still haven't recognized the shape, like none of us have

but nothing I can find about that works, back to the drawing board!
