As i said in the "Going away for a while" thread i won't be on as much for a few weeks i think. As some of you probably know i have a really close family with my cousins always round at my house and things. Well my aunt has discoverd something about my uncle and things have gotten nasty, luckily no-one has been hurt or anything. I'm now not allowed to speak to him and tonight i had to walk past him and not speak to him. I haven't spoken or seen him for a few months. I really upset all the time. (I know it sounds silly saying that but we used to be such a close family). My aunt said that "she cannot cope anymore" and i'm really worried. I just pray everything will turn out okay in the end.

It feels much better now i have said that,

let's see here today I got dumped by my gf, found out i'm failing school, geting picked on by my 17 year old bro, had my parents use an exessive amount of jewish guilt, i've had multiple thoughts of suicide, and am felling like crap, and i quote "is there anymore **** that we could possibly pile on to this moutain of ****...is it possible!?" In other news:

Ok so on Wednesday my school had a big Christmas concert and I () am in the school fanfari orchestra (and I don't know the instrument in english). We had to play three musics in from of the place where the concert was and it was cold outside so I was wearing a hat. But our teacher told us to take off the hats and put them in our pockets but I didn't have a big enough pocket and I didn't have where to put my hat! So a girl from my class (she's always with the boys and gets beaten up by them but she always laughs and acts strange with the other girls) asked me if I want to put my hat in her pocket and I agreed. When we finished our music (MAN that was hard! It was so cold and my fingers froze and on top of all that the instrument was SOOO heavy!) she gave me my hat back.
After that we all went inside to watch the concert and that girl called me but didn't tell me why! When I got to her there was her grandma (she has mental issues and I'm completely serious about this!) and she told me: "THIS HAT IS HERS AND YOU STOLE IT! TOMORROW I'M GOING TO YOUR TEACHER AND THE SCHOOL DIRECTOR AND YOUR PARENTS!" and she left! then I got back to my seat and I cried because she told me she's gonna get me expelled!
and then the boys from my class (they were sitting right behind me and my BFFs and they heard what was going on) told me that they're going to beat her up really bad! I tried to stop them but I was crying that much that I couldn't talk and they didn't understand me! Then they went to search for her and when they came back the told me that they saw her grandma hit her at the exit.
Everybody believed me because that hat was mine from the fifth grade and they're always seeing me with it; that girl doesn't even have a hat; her grandma is mentally ill; "You would never do such a thing".
The other day I was feeling ill and didn't go to school and after school finished my BFF told me that the grandma of that girl took her to the police for people under 18 years old to tell what happened! That really got me nervous! I mean she threatened to expel me and now she went to the police! But today when I went to school my teacher told me that nothing's gonna happen to me! That made me feel better!
But these two days I was so nervous and always crying! I'm so happy that I won't get expelled for a hat that MINE!

suzy- it sounds like a common mistake that anyone can make (especially one that is mentally ill) and you shouldent be worried about a thing, if someone thinks you did something wrong and you know that you didnt then dont worry! just think to yourself that i didnt do anything wrong. i hope everything gets better for you!

Well, many of you know my situation...but I just need to use this thread to get stuff off my chest....

All year I've been dealing with health issues since December 2005 - and still am, and yet I continued working full time, and going to school at nights. Things happened at my office that were shocking, and appalling and these things changed my job duties drastically. I had to step up and fill the position of an employee who had been fired. I had to clean up all her mess, learn the new job, and take on 10 times the responsibilities I had previously. (I work in a law office.) All this...overnight - literally. It was also discovered the employee I replaced had literally not done her work in a couple years, and everything was way behind, and a total mess. I had to figure it all out and clean up the mess. I've been at my job for a little more than 7 years. So, shortly after this happened, my boss hired a new person for me to train. SHE GOT PAID A DOLLAR MORE THAN ME PER HOUR. While I'm training her. Then, the boss starts coming down on me harder, and being very horrible to me, talking down to me, and treating me VERY poorly. Again, bear in mind that while I'm dealing with this, I'm recovering from an illness I've had for a year (and didn't take the time off that several doctors recommended I take), and going to the University at night.

Right before I left on my vacation for Christmas, my boss took me into his office and told me I was not organized enough (has never been a problem in the SEVEN years I have worked there - keep in mind I was cleaning up my lazy ex co-worker's mess) and that I wasn't handling the workload or stress level well enough. He docked my bonus for these things, and then I left the office for my vacation. That was my "send off" for vacation. The new girl had a bigger bonus than me.

Anyway, I have to return to work on Thursday, and am dreading seeing that place again. I want to quit my job, but being I'm dealing with my health problems, I have doctor appointments, and a new job, who doesn't know my health situation won't understand this situation well. The other option would be for me to go on disability for awhile while I recover. (Disability is used in the USA when someone is too sick or unable to work for awhile. Mine would be short term, not long term.) However, I barely get paid enough at my job to get by as it is, and the government would only pay 2/3 of my current pay. *sigh* I can't make it on that pay. I really don't know what to do, and am at the end of my rope. I'm stressed, upset, and unhappy. I now also have bad insomnia. I just really needed to get this off my chest. So I am. I know there's nothing anyone can do, but it helps to let it out. And I know that there are people all over the world dealing with problems a million times worse than mine. I know my problems are trivial compared to theirs. But like I said, I really needed to let it out... Thanks for listening to me rant.

That isn't trivial..it plain sucks.

I don't know where in the USA you are... I know at least one person from online who works in a law office (I reserve what I wanna say though lol). That is utterly idiotic and strange as to why he's treating you that way after 7 years. Is he the same boss you've had for the entire 7 years? It really does sound fishy as to why the newer person is a)getting paid slightly more than you... and b)getting a bigger bonus than you considering you've been there longer. The things he's saying about your performance is subjective and I didn't even realize they COULD dock your pay for those things... I bet it is time to either go to HIS supervisor or to HR (or both) and SAY something to them about this treatment. Docking pay for "unorganization" because HE think so? I don't think so Tim! Docking pay because of absences..yes.. that's proof worthy.

I do hope you get your health issues worked out.. that's no fun.. I've been there to a lesser degree (still suffering effects but that's my own fault)

That's bad and I completely agree with DuckBoy! Your boss should pay you MORE not LESS for taking that job! And if seven years you've been doing your job so good and now you are in a bad position and you have to make two jobs at once, train a new girl, go to school at NIGHT AND you have some health issues then that's LOW!
My mom was in something like that a few months ago and her boss gave her a lower job than she used to have TWO times in a row and she was one of the LITTLE workers that stayed at that job even after all of those messes AND he hired some new girl at her previous job only because she was his friend or something! (I am telling what my mom told me!) and +that she had to do the job of her lazy co-worker and for every HIS mistake SHE had to take the responsibilities and clean the mess! But now she has a new boss and she's now on a better job there and her lazy co-worker has to deal with his job himself! Oh and she had a operation while she was trough all this!
So what I mean is that everything worked out for her and probably everything will work out for you too! Oh and did I mention I'm really bad at these things?

Selena that's terrible and i'm really appauled that he has been treating you like that. You take that other girls job, clean her mess up and get paid less than the person you are training?! Take your health into account and the situation just gets worse I've never had a job so i can't advise you what to do but i know he shouldn't be treating you like that I wish only good things for you in 2008

I have known about your situation for some time, dearest Escape daughter, but it still tears my heart apart to hear about it I wish I was with you and giving that boss of yours some peace of my mind. He is obviously the personification of what one might call a humunguous ASSet!!
I am usually a peaceful person but I admit your story brings out the worst in me. Never mess with a mamas children, she will get kinda annoyed! I will stand by you, da Escape, and I hope my words of support help in some small way. Escape: I'm so sorry for what your going through! your boss needs to respect you more and pay you more for the extra work you are doing, you clean up someone else's mess on top of all your work that you have to do, and your boss has the guts to tell you that you aren't doing good enough of a job! He should be glad that you took on the extra work and that you are trying to finish it all! your boss sounds like a real monkey butt! Escape I can only hope that your health issue your having and your job and school will work out for the better! It's a new year so lets hope this brings the best for you!
