We had more snow over night! The dogs are delighted. And I Could go straight back to bed now, after shoveling the footpath free. It's 8:00am over here. The forecast say's there is more snow to come and they have given out a stormwarning. "Daisy" is going to blow pretty heavy...
Well, to be honest.. I dont't really fancy meeting her...

Well, depends where the game takes place. The fog seems to begin around 10 pm, and goes into the morning around 8 a.m. Then high fog throughout the day. (Doesn't affect visibility. More like high clouds.)

Heavy fog could be a prob. If it comes down to a field goal attempt at the end I hope the kicker can see the uprights.

It's the first time for about 4 years now that we've had a white Christmas or even a winter with snow. Normally it's wet with low temperatures and stormy with a freezing cold wind that "bites" the skin of your face, as we say.The rain then freezes on the cold ground and driving becomes difficult. So we all prefer the snow.
The dogs love it too. They plough with their noses through it, run after every snowball any kid throws and I'm having a hard time getting them back into the house. The cat sits at the window and is fascinated by these funny white things falling down. Mind you, he's not one to walk in it....it looks like he's trying to dance for the Bolshoi-Ballet

Yes, icy conditions are no fun, and definitely very dangerous!!! We had that when I was in Missouri just a couple weeks ago, too. I didn't like driving on the icy roads. I went REALLY slow. And yeah, the cold wind "bit" my face too!! My nose and ears ached!

Adorable about your dogs in the snow.

So true! We've been having a very dense fog in the nights/mornings, though.

I'm already missing the cold, snowy weather of Missouri. It was such a nice change to have some interesting weather [including my very first white Christmas!].

Back home now, and we have cool, mild temps and sunny skies. How boring...

Texas is hovering at freezing temp at night and an arctic blast is headed our way Thursday. Pipes, plants, and pets for the rest of the week. Icy.

Orlando Florida has highs in the 50's F and lows in the mid twenties-lower 30's F! And that's just the tip of the proverbial iceberg! By next weekend all the modal bring record-breaking cold air to the eastern U.S. conus(including Florida)! A high of 36 or 39 degrees F would not be out of the question for Orlando and Tampa by next Saturday/Sunday(despite full sunshine)! What's more! These below average anomalies may last for at least 3 weeks because of an abnormally southward track Polar Vortex by next week. The last time that happened was in 1895, 1899, 1977, 1983, 1985, 1989, and 1996(among other years.
