Great game! Loved it!

Edit: replayed the game to find all 40 coins, but I saw the last one just too late. Oh well, 39 coins is alright too and I at least know where to find all 40. On the ninth place of all time.. as long as it last.

I'm having a little trouble for some reason. I have

the lighter and 11 coins

not sure what to do from here.

Well, I'm stuck. I have

two medallions, and not sure where they go, a knife, and 30 coins.

I do not know what to do with

the librarian, how to get the balloon from the librarian, the person in the "cherry embassy", the person yelling "Revenge! Revenge!", the artist, the tall person outside in the "Infected area", the smaller person outside the "Fisherman's Alley", or the person flying the kite in the Fog Haven, or the batch of whatever it is you can close up on behind the person in Fog Haven, or what to do with the person on top of the ledge, or on the roof, or with the bird thing on the lower ledge.

I am totally stuck right now.

I figured out the roof part, and the librarian, but still not sure of the rest.
I found

two of the 6 eggs, not sure about the other four.

Never mind. I didn't

explore around the "Forbidden Area" well enough.

I finished with 27 coins.

I can't remember all the details, but you

get eggs from certain characters if you give them an item.

hmmm...here's what I haven't been able to give anyone:

a flower, 2 medallions, a stinky cheese sandwich,

hang on, as I was typing this I realized I hadn't used

a key to get into the infected area, duh!

getting somewhere now, but I'm sure I'll be back with more questions! :-)

Yeah, these are exactly the items that you'll need to give.
If I could only remember where exactly those characters were

sandwich in forbidden area; flower to a guy who is drawing with a chalk, don't remember in which area he was; medallions to a sort of statue (I think you had to go upstairs from a "tunnel"-like dark passage

Have never figured out the cherry embassy guy.

THAT's what I haven't found - the guy drawing with chalk. I have two keys left so I feel like there's a door I haven't managed to unlock. I also have the balloon left.

Only missing one egg.

There are 3 eggs to collect in the forbidden district:

Chicken egg (from the chicken), Bronze egg (give sandwich to woman in cave), silver egg (give the two medallions to the long statue).

The fourth egg is in wallstreet

Go to the street on the right, go right again, unlock the door, give flower to man, follow him inside and he will give you the egg.

but I did NOT

get the balloon .

Does that mean I'm screwed and have to start again?

Drawing guy - if that helps

You get to a screen with a stone fence/wall. To the left you had the guy shouting for revenge - the drawing guy is to the right of that stone fence/wall screen

Has he let the balloon go? Then you'll be able to go up and get it - if I remember correctly.

No, you don't have to start over all again.

go to wall street and enter the street with the arc on the left. Climb upwards on the ladder. You will find the balloon on the roof.
