I just got #25. Oh god. Download the newest file, slow it down, and you'll be able to hear the words right.

Somebody earlier had the right idea about what to do with the words, but nobody has the right words (one person on the previous page comes pretty darn close though)

They don't give you much for #26, but here are my insights so far

The pennies and filename must have something to do with the San Francisco mint, but I can't find anyone named John associated with the mint, or pennies, or the filename.

How the freck did you do it Scoobyhed, everytime i use Audacity to change the speed by a negative amount (such as -75) the wave file reduces in time, and instead of playing the full speech it cuts it midway

The trick with audacity is to select a fraction of the file only (viz, leave a bit at the beginning and the end), and then reduce the speed. I'm about -50, but I can't figure some words (I got 5 so far)

Scooby was right: a list of words from the new file has been posted earlier. It's pretty close indeed. Besides, you don't need all the words.

ok 25 is much clearer now with the new file, but my brain is still stuck hearing the same thing over and over and it isnt making enough sense.

Hi I'm stuck on #25.. I've tried slowing it down, removing noise, reversing it and all sorts of stuff - all to no avail

I'm still hearing:

I gonna found the PETL, the People for the Ethical Treatment of Laptops.

You can try play with the letters you have.

Following Scooby's example, I didn't find some of the owrds, but was able to do without

you know with 'sate me' that it must be some kind of food, and not the fancy kind, the kind that leave you completely full. In starch-induced coma.
