The bathtub dementia test!
During a visit to a nursing home I asked the Director what the criterion is to get a patient included.
However, said the Director, we fill a bathtub with water, then get the patient a teaspoon, a teacup and a bucket. We will ask him/her to empty the bathtub.
Oh, I get it I said, use the bucket because a normal person that is larger than a teaspoon or a teacup.
No, said the Director, a normal person would pull the stop from the bathtub.
