First egg you'll find in the museum:

You buy the wooden egg as a souvenir in the museum.

The second egg you get at the butcher:

Give the distillate water to the thirsty man all in the back.

The third egg is in wallstreet:

Go to the street on the right, go right again, unlock the door, give flower to man, follow him inside and he will give you the egg.

There other 3 eggs are in the forbidden district:

Chicken egg (from the chicken), Bronze egg (give sandwich to woman in cave), silver egg (give the two medallions to the long statue).

I hope I remembered this all correctly.

Trying again for more coins.

For the life of me, I can't remember how to get to the screen where you

give the giant the medallions! Been clicking all over the Forbidden area and can't get to it!

nvm, as usual, found it as soon as I posted.

Have 31 coins - not leaving until I have 39!

Once you went through the gate of the forbidden area, click the most right building to go right. Now there should be two spots to click. One leads to the chicken and the another one leads to the tower with the giant.

Thanks Adventure! Didn't make my goal though, only 32 coins and I wasn't quick enough for that last one.

Next time I play I will

save at least 2 coins by not getting the poison

Some people found 43 and 44 coins! LOVE this game. Didn't know about the first one so I had fun playing that one too.

I too wasn't quick enough for the last one. So I finished with 39 coins in my pocket.

But 43 and 44 coins! Wow. Those must be really well hidden.
Or perhaps we missed to solve some puzzles. There were quite some things I never figured out, but they could be red herrings.
In example:
1) The clock. I managed to set it on 12:00 but the doors didn't open. Maybe there was a hint for the correct time?
2) The chalk. I was thinking perhaps we perhaps had to put the arsenic on it. I haven't tested it.
3) The cats. Couldn't do anything with them.
4) The star symbol on the wall by the arch in wall street.
5) The crack in the wall on the left of the giant in the forbidden district (the one who you gave the two medallions).

I'll try the arsenic/chalk thing and let you know if it does anything.

Nope, nothing happens when you try to put arsenic on the chalk. I even tried to give it to the poor tenament guy, no luck.

Have 33 coins. I'd like to know where all those suckers are!

Yes, I am officially obsessed with finding the stupid coins.

I read on Lazy Laces that there are coins

in the sewer when you get the grates opened, assuming they meant in the first 2 scenes after you crossover. Of course they didn't say HOW they got them opened...knife doesn't work and I was unable to get the hook back so that's out too.
