Well, the pass is the mathematical puzzle on the note "pass" (replace the roman numerals by decimal numbers - I explained that and this you will have to look up). Every time it can be another one.

7 (letters), 5 (books incl. diary), 4 (leaves) and 2 (cups).

The order changes in every game, so try it out.

I had the right code but wrong order (begins with # of nubers)
You dont have to do anything after entering the code.

Yes, I had that also for the first time I played and I was puzzled...

factorial is not that everybody knows. I learned it but it didn't come in my mind - only after 30 minutes of desperate trying out other things.
